What do you understand about spirituality? Do you often find it to be remarkably similar to being religious?
According to the Oxford’s Learning Dictionary, spirituality is defined as the quality of being connected to the human spirit but not to material and physical things.
In my opinion, spirituality is considered to be a broad concept that has space for different perspectives. Throughout time, spirituality has developed, expanded, and evolved and various connotations can be found alongside each other.
In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than us, and it typically involves searching for meaning in life. It is a universal human experience, something that touches us all. People may describe a spiritual experience as sacred or transcended or simply a deep sense of aliveness and interconnectedness.
That said, in my personal journey of self-realization and spiritual experiences through meditation and self-contemplation, and with God’s divine blessings, I was able to awaken a higher truth and realized “Who I Truly Am”, my higher potential and calling in life where I found my life purpose is to serve Humanity and Mother Earth.
In addition, I realized that “we are all one and the truth is nothing but love”. I realized that if everyone could awaken and realize their innate true nature of ever peace, ever wise and ever pure, life of higher potentials can collectively be lived and enjoyed on Mother Earth. For example, the potential to collectively live in peace, harmony and love; the potential to live without sickness and diseases; the potential to collectively live abundantly and to eradicate poverty, and etc. Thus, I decided to embark on this journey to help awaken humanity’s higher truth.
Having said that, spirituality is essential in the evolution of our growth as human beings. In my experience, the journey inwards towards knowing thyself, the spiritual aspects of your “Self” have had not only a major positive impact to the overall well-being of my body, mind, and soul, but also understanding the purpose of my very own existence.
I realized that what lies in and within us is a library of wisdom and potentials – the potential to heal yourself emotionally, physically and mentally; the potential to heal yourself from sickness; the potential to be sustainably happy and be healthy, the potential to render love and compassion, and to tap on your innate creativity.
Dwelling into spirituality, I developed many gifts along the journey as I realized I could actually dance gracefully and beautifully, which I was not able to do so prior. As a result of daily meditation practices and connection to inner-self, I could now write fluently and speak eloquently without many efforts of thought. The speaking and writing come intuitively as I call these channelling. The effortless effort to create and express are indeed beautiful, certainly a skill to be rejoice of and celebrated for. As Albert Einstein famously quote: “Intuition is the highest form of intelligence”. Besides, through self-realization and spirituality, I embodied the connections and realizations to the practice of Qi Gong and Yoga Asanas while which resulted in lightness of body and clarity of mind, it is truly transformational.
All in all, through self-realization and the awakening of spirituality, I am now bestowed with wisdom and knowledge that allow me to be able to see and understand the deeper meaning into life circumstances. And as a result, I am positive in all aspects of my life and I am able to keep and maintain calm and peaceful regardless of life challenges.
